At Edelman, Kunal built a product marketing platform for the pharma industry in APAC, integrating proprietary IP from Edelman Intelligence & IQVIA (formerly: Quintiles IMS). At Wavemaker (formerly: MEC), Kunal was responsible for the strategic implementation and roll-out of GroupM’s ‘Adtech’ product (Xaxis) across SEA for Citibank, Singtel, Tiffany & Co, Toys”R”Us, The Dairy Farm group, and Singapore Airlines.

Kunal ran his first Bitcoin node in 2012 and got introduced to Ethereum at Devcon-1 in London (2015). Recently, Kunal has been a pseudonymously active contributor to several Web3 projects. Particularly, helping DeFi startups/DAOs with product marketing, development roadmaps, tokenomics and on-chain governance

Kunal is a technologist and brand/product marketer, two decades in the making. His experience straddles some of the top global digital, creative, media, consulting and marketing firms.

In 1999, my digital journey began with a Compaq Presario PC, sparking a passion for coding that started with GW Basic and evolved to C and Assembler. My first website sale was a turning point, revealing the potential of technology. This led to roles in tech startups and a voracious appetite for learning through books, forums, and blogs.

Since then, my career has spanned across pivotal marketing and advertising roles at Ogilvy, JWT, and Edelman, consulting at Ernst & Young, digital media at GroupM, and technology at Digitas & Construct Digital. I've experienced the tech wave's growth from its nascent stages to its present ubiquity. And yet, it feels like we're just getting started.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is equivalent to magic.
